In Monday's league test, the Clarendon Lions (Clarendon, AR) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Marvell Mustangs (Marvell, AR), by a score of 54-46.

Next, the Lions encounter the Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards (Little Rock, AR) in a Great Plains Deaf test, on Tuesday, December 10. Clarendon will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Leopards come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 47-30 non-league loss to Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX).

The Mustangs (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Barton (Lexa, AR). The Bears come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Barton beat McCrory (McCrory, AR), 47-41, in a league test.
