In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Kingsford Flivvers basketball team scored a close 57-50 triumph over the Westwood Patriots.
The Flivvers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Wykons go into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, West Iron County was tipped by Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI), 65-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Westwood will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Redmen go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 71-28 non-league win over Negaunee (Negaunee, MI).
