In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Murray Tigers basketball team scored a close 46-40 triumph over the Webster County Trojans.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Union County (Morganfield, KY). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Union County nipped Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY), 100-0, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Webster County will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 83-79 non-league win over McLean County (Calhoun, KY).
