California High School Basketball - Peninsula nips Western

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Peninsula Panthers basketball team scored a close 43-41 triumph over the Western Pioneers.
The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against South (Torrance, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, South nipped Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA), 66-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 11. Western will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Servite (Anaheim, CA).
