The Powhatan Indians basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Prince George Royals to 49 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

The Indians now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Midlothian for a Dominion game on Wednesday, December 11. Powhatan will confront a Trojans team coming off a 77-68 non-league loss to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Prince George falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Petersburg (Petersburg, VA) to confront the Crimson Wave in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Crimson Wave go into the game with a record of 0-3. Petersburg lost 84-49 in their recent non-league game against Maury (Norfolk, VA)
