The Union Knights basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host South Tama County Trojans to 36 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wapsie Valley for a North Iowa Cedar - East game on Tuesday, December 10. Union will play a Warriors team coming off a 56-53 league win over Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, South Tama County falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA) to play the Stormin' Pointers in a WAMAC - West game on Tuesday, December 10. The Stormin' Pointers go into the game with a record of 1-2. Center Point-Urbana won 64-42 in their recent league game against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA)
