In Monday's league contest, the host Union Grove Wolverines basketball team scored a good 43-35 triumph over the Hampton Hornets.
The Wolverines (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kell (Marietta, GA). The Longhorns go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Kell was topped by Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA), 86-72, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Hampton will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 43-35 non-league loss to McDonough (McDonough, GA).
