Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC), 45-37 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pinecrest advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to South Garner (Garner, NC) to meet the Titans in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Titans enter the match with a record of 2-1. South Garner won 49-39 in their recent non-league match against Green Hope (Cary, NC)

The Wolverines now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Non Freshman Opponent for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14.
