Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Moon Area routed by Blackhawk

Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA), 49-20 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Blackhawk advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Beaver (Beaver, PA) to face the Bobcats in a WPIAL 4A 2 match on Thursday, December 12. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 3-0. Beaver won 62-32 in their recent non-league match against Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shaler Area for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Moon Area will face a Titans squad coming off a 58-50 non-league win over Butler (Butler, PA). The Titans record now stands at 4-0.
