Virginia High School Basketball - Briar Woods toppled by Broad Run

Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA), 44-33 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Broad Run upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to face the Bruins in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 1-3. Lake Braddock lost 45-38 in their recent non-league match against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA)

The Falcons now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loudoun County for a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. Briar Woods will face a Captains squad coming off a 57-23 non-league win over Independence (Ashburn, VA). The Captains record now stands at 2-1.
