In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Hickman County Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 40-34 triumph over the Columbia Academy Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Fairview, TN). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Fairview was tipped by Summit (Spring Hill, TN), 52-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the University School of Nashville Tigers (Nashville, TN) in a Division II-A Middle District 3 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Columbia Academy will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 46-31 non-league loss to Davidson Academy (Nashville, TN).
