In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Hickory Hawks basketball team scored a good 63-43 triumph over the First Colonial Patriots.
The Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Norfolk Academy topped Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA), 42-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Cox Falcons (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach contest, on Tuesday, December 10. First Colonial will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 50-28 league win over Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA).
