In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Wyoming Valley West Spartans basketball team scored a good 61-49 triumph over the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Bucks go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Dunmore topped Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA), 52-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 65-33 non-league loss to Dallas (Dallas, PA).
