The Platte County Pirates basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Liberty Blue Jays to 46 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.

The Pirates now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Oak Park for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Platte County will confront a Northmen team coming off a 66-63 league loss to Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO). The Northmen record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Blue jays travel to Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS) to confront the Blues in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Blues go into the game with a record of 1-0. Washburn Rural won 44-43 in their recent non-league game against Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS)
