The Powhatan Indians basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Prince George Royals to 51 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

The Indians now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Midlothian for a Dominion game on Tuesday, December 10. Powhatan will confront a Trojans team coming off a 56-30 non-league loss to Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Prince George falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Royals host Petersburg (Petersburg, VA) to confront the Crimson Wave in a Central game on Tuesday, December 10. The Crimson Wave go into the game with a record of 1-0. Petersburg won 52-12 in their recent league game against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA)
