The Sullivan County Griffins basketball squad (Laporte, PA), lost 33-24 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA)

With the victory, Sayre advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Redskins travel to Towanda (Towanda, PA) to meet the Black Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, December 13. The Black Knights enter the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Griffins now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia Montour Vo-Tech for a Mid-Penn - D4 battle on Tuesday, December 17.
