Nevada High School Flag Football - Chaparral holds off Amplus Academy

December 9, 2024: Las Vegas, NV 89121

The Chaparral Cowboys (Las Vegas, NV) flag football tipped the visiting Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV), 13-6 in Monday's league outing.

The Cowboys now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arbor View for a 4A Desert outing on Thursday, December 12. Chaparral will clash with a Aggies squad coming off a 32-7 league win over Clark (Las Vegas, NV). The Aggies record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Amplus Academy drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Archers host Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Pioneers in a 4A Desert outing on Wednesday, December 11. The Pioneers come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Canyon Springs won 14-0 in their recent league outing against Durango (Las Vegas, NV)
