Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), 25-13 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Preston advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Riverside (Belle, WV) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-0.

The Buccaneers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lewis County for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11.
