The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Cibola Cougars to 26 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hornets now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Eldorado for a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. Highland will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 41-39 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Cibola falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Ravens in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. The Ravens go into the game with a record of 0-0.
