In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Serra Cavaliers basketball team scored a big 43-14 win over the Peninsula Panthers.
The Cavaliers (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Lancers come into the contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bishop Amat was trounced by La Serna (Whittier, CA), 60-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 11. Peninsula will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 37-35 non-league loss to Sonora (La Habra, CA).
