North Carolina High School Basketball - Willow Spring bested by Broughton

Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 60-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Broughton advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Capitals host Millbrook (Raleigh, NC) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-2.

The Storm now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fuquay - Varina for a match on Friday, December 13. Willow Spring will face a Bengals squad coming off a 69-57 non-league win over Green Level (Cary, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 7-1.
