In Monday's non-league contest, the host Chatham Charter Knights basketball team scored a close 29-26 win over the North Moore Mustangs.
The Knights (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Providence Grove was tipped by Western Alamance (Elon, NC), 71-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. North Moore will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 98-49 non-league loss to North Rowan (Spencer, NC).
