Texas High School Basketball - Ray nips Alexander

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Ray Texans basketball team scored a close 68-61 triumph over the Alexander Bulldogs.

The Texans (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats enter the non-league outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Vela was nipped by United (Laredo, TX), 72-59, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Pleasanton got by Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX), 89-56, in a non-league outing.
