In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host China Spring Cougars basketball team scored a good 77-58 triumph over the Little River Academy Bumblebees.

The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wimberley (Wimberley, TX). The Texans go into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Wimberley topped Bastrop (Bastrop, TX), 71-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bumblebees battle the Rio Vista Eagles (Rio Vista, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 11. Little River Academy will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 63-40 non-league loss to Mildred (Corsicana, TX).
