In Tuesday's league test, the Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL), by a score of 61-29.

Next, the Comets encounter the St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 11. Clifton Central will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Sabers come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 64-47 non-league win over Oakwood (Fithian, IL).

The Dragons (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Coal City was ripped by Wilmington (Wilmington, IL), 37-25, in a league bout.
