North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilkes Central falls to Hibriten

The Wilkes Central Eagles basketball squad (Wilkesboro, NC), was outscored 62-47 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC)

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Rutherford (Bostic, NC). The Cavaliers come into the Western Piedmont 3A/4A challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, East Rutherford defeated McDowell (Marion, NC), 64-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 10. Wilkes Central will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 58-46 non-league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC).
