Texas High School Basketball - Sands nips Ira

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) and the host Ira Bulldogs (Ira, TX), observed Sands's basketball team edge Ira by a score of 70-69.

The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Coahoma edged Colorado (Colorado City, TX), 66-28, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 11. Ira will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record.
