Leesburg Yellow Jackets (Leesburg, FL) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL), 76-38 in a league contest.

The Yellow Jackets (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Tampa Catholic smashed Varsity Opponent (, ), 94-25, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Springstead will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 58-55 non-league win over Gulf (New Port Richey, FL).
