The Trinity Christian Gryphons basketball squad (Fairfax, VA), was crushed 62-29 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA)

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Falcons come into the Northwestern challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Fauquier was trounced by Skyline (Front Royal, VA), 77-71, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gryphons battle the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 12. Trinity Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Mighty Hoppers enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 44-40 non-league win over St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC).
