Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz holds off Creekview

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Nimitz Vikings basketball team scored a close 48-46 triumph over the Creekview Mustangs.
The Vikings (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Cardinals go into the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, MacArthur was nipped by Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX), 50-18, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Highland Park (Dallas, TX). The Scots enter the 5A Region II District 12 outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Highland Park got by Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 48-25, in a league outing.
