Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers (Lake Charles, LA) backers were thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team bounce the host South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA), 44-23 in a non-league game.

The Trailblazers now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Edmund for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. Lake Charles College Prep will confront a Fighting Blue Jays team coming off a 52-51 non-league loss to Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays record now stands at 4-3.

The Tarpons (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Basile (Basile, LA). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Basile was ripped by Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 56-47, in a non-league game.
