The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oldenburg Academy Twisters (Oldenburg, IN) and the host Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN), observed Oldenburg Academy's basketball team overwhelm Rising Sun by a score of 54-26.
The Twisters (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Newport Central Catholic was trounced by Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 55-39, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Shiners face the Milan Indians (Milan, IN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 18. Rising Sun will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record.
