The Sun Valley Vanguards basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Pottsgrove Falcons to 45 in the Vanguards non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vanguards now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Unionville for a Ches-Mont - American game on Thursday, December 11. Sun Valley will play a Longhorns team coming off a 40-35 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, PA). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Pottsgrove falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Norristown (Norristown, PA) to play the Eagles in a Pioneer game on Thursday, December 11. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-4. Norristown lost 47-33 in their recent league game against Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA)
