The Acalanes Dons basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Arroyo Dons to 45 in the Dons non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Dons now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Campolindo for a Diablo - Foothill contest on Friday, February 4. Acalanes will battle a Cougars team coming off a 52-45 league win over Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 19-1.
The Dons (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against KIPP King (San Lorenzo, CA). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, KIPP King dropped by AIMS College Prep (Oakland, CA), 79-72, in a league contest.
