Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO) and the visiting Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO), saw Battle's basketball squad overcome Marshall by a tally of 83-67.

With the victory, Battle improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Helias (Jefferson City, MO) to confront the Crusaders in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Owls confront the Mexico Bulldogs (Mexico, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 7. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record.
