Berean Academy Warriors (Elbing, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Marion Warriors (Marion, KS), 61-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Berean Academy upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Warriors host Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, February 4. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Ell-Saline lost 53-36 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (Hutchinson, KS)

Next up, the Warriors play the Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 4. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Black Bears go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 49-47 non-league win over Moundridge (Moundridge, KS).
