Michigan High School Basketball - Mattawan tipped by Charlotte

The Charlotte Orioles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Mattawan Wildcats to 54 in the Orioles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Orioles now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lansing Catholic for a Capital Area - White contest on Friday, February 4. Charlotte will meet a Cougars team coming off a 75-74 league win over Sexton (Lansing, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 7-4.
The Wildcats (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs enter the Southwestern Michigan - West contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Portage Central was nudged by Marshall (Marshall, MI), 77-74, in a non-league contest.
