The Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) basketball nipped the host East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT), 53-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Colonels (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Waterford got by Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT), 81-46, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Norwich Free Academy for a Eastern Connecticut I test on Thursday, February 3. East Lyme will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 89-45 league win over Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-2.
