In Tuesday's league outing, the St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) basketball squad beat the host New London Whalers (New London, CT), by a count of 74-62.
The Saints (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Bacon Academy was topped by Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT), 89-45, in a non-league outing.
The Whalers now hold a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Fitch for a Eastern Connecticut I outing on Thursday, February 3. New London will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 71-48 non-league win over Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 3-8.
