Iowa High School Basketball - Northwest Webster can't hold off West Bend-Mallard

The West Bend-Mallard Wolverines basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Northwest Webster Cougars to 41 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pocahontas for a non-league contest on Friday, February 4. West Bend-Mallard will battle a Indians team coming off a 64-55 non-league loss to East Sac County (Lake View, IA). The Indians record now stands at 6-11.
The Cougars (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, South Central Calhoun edged Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA), 74-63, in a league contest.
