Central Wolves (Bay City, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI), 50-48 in a league bout.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to Saginaw (Saginaw, MI) to clash with the Trojans in a Saginaw Valley bout on Friday, February 4. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Saginaw lost 64-55 in their recent league bout against Heritage (Saginaw, MI)
Next up, the Chargers clash with the Davison Cardinals (Davison, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Powers Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 56-40 league loss to Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).
