The Marion Wolves basketball team (Marion, IA), was nudged 43-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Clear Creek-Amana Clippers (Tiffin, IA)
The Clippers now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center Point-Urbana for a WAMAC - West battle on Friday, February 4. Clear Creek-Amana will battle a Stormin' Pointers team coming off a 50-41 league win over Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA). The Stormin' Pointers record now stands at 16-3.
The Wolves (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Iowa City West edged Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA), 54-35, in a league battle.
