In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Monroe Area Hurricanes soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Apalachee Wildcats.
The Hurricanes (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Redskins go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Social Circle nipped Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Winder-Barrow nipped West Hall (Oakwood, GA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
