Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Battle Mountain drops to Denver East

In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Denver East Angels ice hockey team scored a tight 8-1 win over the Battle Mountain Huskies.
The Angels (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO). The Eagles enter the 5A Metro test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Dakota Ridge held off Standley Lake (Westminster, CO), 9-2, in a league test.
Next up, the Huskies encounter the Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) in a 4A Mountain test, on Friday, February 4. Battle Mountain will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Skiers enter the test with a 5-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO).
