Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), 67-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Anacortes upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA) to play the Cubs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Thursday, February 2. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Sedro-Woolley lost 83-44 in their recent league bout against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Friday, February 3. Nooksack Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 60-49 league win over Blaine (Blaine, WA).
