Auburn Rockets (Auburn, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Grafton Gators (Grafton, MA), 68-65 in a league bout.

With the victory, Auburn upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Rockets host Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Advanced Math & Science Academy lost 63-49 in their recent league bout against Blackstone Valley RVT (Upton, MA)

Next up, the Gators play the Tantasqua Regional Warriors (Fiskdale, MA) in a South Worcester County - A bout, on Thursday, February 9. Grafton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record.
