Brooks Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 97-84 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brooks upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL) to play the Dolphins in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Dolphins go into the bout with a record of 21-5. Whitney Young won 66-36 in their recent non-league bout against Amundsen (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Saint Viator Lions (Arlington Heights, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record.
