In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Albany, NY) basketball squad beat the host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY), by a count of 68-57.

The Brothers (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Cadets go into the non-league outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, La Salle Institute defeated Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY), 76-53, in a league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Guilderland for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will clash with a Flying Dutchman squad coming off a 63-42 league loss to Shaker (Latham, NY). The Flying Dutchman record now stands at 2-15.
