In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting California Trojans basketball team scored a good 57-47 triumph over the Carrick Raiders.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets (Jefferson, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 2 match, on Friday, February 3. California will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Rockets enter the match with a 10-9 record after their 72-40 league loss to Monessen (Monessen, PA).
