Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD), 49-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southern upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Northeast (Pasadena, MD) to play the Eagles in a Anne Arundel County bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 13-5. Northeast lost 53-38 in their recent league bout against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD)

Next up, the play the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Lions (Laurel, MD) in a Freelance bout, on Monday, February 6. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 61-50 non-league win over High Point (Beltsville, MD).
